慈航讲堂于农历乙巳年十一月初八至十一月初十 (27/12/25 – 29/12/25) ⼀连三天顶礼慈悲梁皇宝忏。

Ci Hang Jiang Tang will hold the Liang Emperor’s Repentance from the 8th to the 10th day of the 11th month in the lunar calendar (27/12/25 – 29/12/25), a continuous three-day event.

梁皇宝忏

《梁皇宝忏》是佛教中历史悠久且内容完整的忏悔法⻔之一，已有⼀千四百多年的历史。

它由梁武帝创建，旨在超度他的妻⼦郗⽒。郗⽒因⽣前喜争宠，⽽且常怀瞋⼼及嫉妒⼼，性情残毒，损物害⼈。

去世后，郗⽒化为⼀条巨蟒，每天都遭受鳞甲内被⾍咬，痛苦万分。 有一天，郗⽒于后宫通梦予梁武帝， 希望梁武帝帮她脱离痛苦。

 

于是，梁武帝请来宝志禅师和其他十位⾼僧，编制了《慈悲道场忏法十卷》然后进⾏了忏礼。

郗⽒最终得到度化，化为天⼈，⻜升空中，向梁武帝道别⽽去。

 

后来的僧俗信徒经常修习这⼀忏法，以消除罪孽，排除灾难，并帮助亡灵超度。

跟据以往的经验，那些虔诚和真情实意读诵、礼拜这个法门的人们，无一不得到他们所愿，都能够实现他们的心愿。

Liang Emperor's Repentance

​

《The Liang Emperor's Repentance》 is a long-standing and comprehensive repentance practice in Buddhism with a history of over 1,400 years. It was established by Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty with the aim of facilitating the spiritual transformation of his wife, Lady Chi. Lady Chi, during her lifetime, had a penchant for vying for favour and harboured feelings of anger and jealousy. Her disposition was malevolent, causing harm to others and possessions. After her passing, she transformed into a giant python and suffered excruciating daily pain from the bites of insects within her scales.

 

Lady Chi communicated with Emperor Wu through dreams in the palace. Emperor Wu invited Master Baozhi and ten other eminent monks to compile the ten-volume 慈悲道场忏法 and then conducted a repentance ceremony. Lady Chi ultimately ascended as a celestial being and bid farewell to the emperor in the sky.

 

Subsequently, both monks and laypeople frequently practiced this repentance to cleanse themselves of sins, avert calamities, and aid in the spiritual liberation of departed souls. Based on past experiences, those who sincerely recited and devoutly worshiped this practice invariably achieved their desires and realized their aspirations.
